Twenty Twenty

I’ve been toying with the idea of blogging again for a while, but every post i’ve written just seemed a little off- i couldn’t relate to my own writing. 2019 is almost at an end and i think it’s time to get everything out there.

The past few months have left me the most confident i’ve been in years. I’ve learnt that i don’t have to settle for shitty relationships and i’ve learnt that EVERYONE will struggle with there mental health at times- there was no need to berate myself for living with anxiety.

2020 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting years of my life. Trips have been booked, plans have been made and honestly, it’s about time. The past few years have left me feeling like i was floating from day to day with no real purpose. I was stuck with no idea how to get from a, to b. As of right now, it couldn’t be more opposite. I’m driven, happy (mostly) and i’m ready for the new decade. As cheesey as it sounds but i am so excited to finally put my day dreams in place and start living.

For me, travel was something i always wanted to do, but my anxiety made it so difficult. I spent so much time building up the flight i just couldn’t enjoy the holiday. I couldn’t relax and take in the culture because i was just a nervous wreck!

Now, i’ve finally got my anxiety’s under control, i’m so excited to travel. With a galantines trip planned in a few weeks, i can’t wait to drink a few G&T’s, laugh and enjoy some much needed time away with some one who’s always been there for me.

As for the rest of the year, i hope, there’s going to be a few more trips away. Whether in the UK or sunning myself abroad, i am so excited and ready to see more of the world- even if my bank balance isn’t.

It’s no secret that i’ve been absolutely awful with my blog this year. Truthfully, i’ve been debating ending my blog. I didn’t have time or the motivation to carry on blogging. It wasn’t until i started my new instagram that i realised that i love my blog. I can’t imagine not posting to it any more. Hopefully with my new mind set i will be able to write much more regularly. Well, fingers crossed.

2020 Goal Roundup!

  • Blog more.

I mean, this isn’t hard. Blogging is such a huge part of my life. I can’t imagine not continuing to do it. Even if the posts i share are only short, i want to upload so much more through out 2020 and maybe, a possible schedule.

  • Travel more.

I so badly want to travel. I’m sick of seeing exciting trips to Bali, when i’m sat at home in my chocolate stained PJ’s. In 2020, i hope travel to a few new cities.

  • Focus on Instagram

This month i’ve been working on a new, much more curated instagram. AND I LOVE IT! I try to get a few pictures up a week. Sharing all my favourite outfits, jewellery as well as my favourite restaurants and trips away! So, be sure to follow @ramblealltheway on Instagram!

  • Work on myself.

The cheesiest thing everyone writes at this one of year but this year, i really do mean it. 2020 is going to be a year i’m selfish with my time-I’m just not sure how too yet.

  • Move out.

I think this is on ever goals list i’ve ever written. I’m just ready to have my own space and make myself a home. And as 30 fast approaches it may be time for me to branch out and start making myself a home away from my parents – i’m sure they’ll love more space too.

As of right now, 2020 looks to be a great year. Travel, blogging and the slight possibility of moving into my own space is huge. I can’t wait to see what the next 364 days bring.

Here’s to 2020, i hope it is everything we have dreamed off.
